The Trabe are a humanoid civilization from the Delta
Quadrant. The Trabe at one time had conquered the Kazon.
They used the Kazon as slaves.
In 2346, Jal Sankur united the Kazon sections against
the Trabe. The Kazon took control of most of the Trabe fleet.
In 2372, attempts by Captain Kathryn Janeway of the
Federation starship USS Voyager to form an alliance with one or more Kazon sects
led to her forming such an alliance with the Trabe instead. The Trabe leader,
Mabus, proposed a bolder plan, one that would bring peace between Voyager, the
Trabe, and the Kazon. Mabus instead wanted to bomb the conference hall killing
the Kazon majes.
