Biography
Worf was born on Qo'noS on December 9,
2340. His father was Mogh. He had a pet tagh as he grew up. He
became orphaned in 2347 when his parents were killed in the Khitomer Massacre.
He was rescued by Sergey Rozhenko. He was raised by Sergey and Helena
Rozhenko. Worf found it difficult to live with humans.
Worf and his adoptive brother, Nikolai Rozhenko,
entered Starfleet Academy together in 2357. His brother dropped out but
Worf graduated in 2361. Worf was the first Klingon to enter Starfleet.
He was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise-D in 2364.
His first assignment was Conn Officer. After the death of Tasha Yar, he
was promoted to Lieutenant and assumed the position of Security Chief. His
son, Alexander, was born in 2366.
In 2366, he learned that he a biological brother.
They learned their father had committed treason at Khitomer. The Klingon
High Council refused to hear new testimony in the case. A few years later,
Worf and Kurn agreed to help Gowron during the Klingon Civil War. Their
family honor was restored.
He was promoted to Lieutenant Commander in 2371.
After the Enterprise-D was destroyed, he went to Boreth to study for a year in a
monastery. He accepted the position of Strategic Operations Officer aboard
Deep Space Nine.
In 2372, Worf refused to help Gowron in a Cardassian
invasion. Gowron removed Worf's family from the High Council, titles
stripped, and land seized. He was also banned from the Klingon Empire.
In 2373, he fell in love with Jadzia Dax. Worf
was made a member of the House of Martok in the early part of 2373. They were
married in 2374. He took it quite hard when she was killed by Gul Dukat in
late 2374. In 2375, he fought a great battle in her name to make sure she
went to Sto-vo-kor.
Worf's relationship with his son was difficult.
The relation got better when Alexander joined the House of Martok in 2374. After
the Dominion War, he was assigned to Ambassador to Qo'noS.
