Biography

     B'Elanna Torres was half-Klingon and half-human.  Her parents were John Torres and Miral.  She spent her early years on Kessik IV.  Her human father left when she was five.  She and her mother moved to Qo'noS.

     She attended Starfleet Academy but dropped out during her second year.  She joined the Maquis sometime after.

      In 2371, the Maquis ship she was serving on was lost in the Delta Quadrant.  She joined the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager. She was promoted to Chief Engineer shortly after joining the ship.

     Later that year, the Vidiian separated her into two individuals, one fully human and one fully Klingon.  The Klingon side sacrificed herself so that the human self could survive.  The EMH on Voyager was help to reintegrate the Klingon DNA.

      In 2376, she began to date Thomas Paris.  The two were married and had a daughter over the next two years.  She named the child Miral, after her mother.

     In 2378, she returned to the Alpha Quadrant.
