The Takarians are a humanoid species who
inhabit Takar II in the Delta Quadrant. When encountered by the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager, they were going through
a bronze-age civilization.
A pair of Ferengi, Arridor and Kol,
pretended to be the Sages in an effort to make money. They had drastic effects
on the Takarian civilization but were driven out by the crew of Voyager.
