Biography

     Captain Hikaru was born in 2237 in San Francisco, California on Earth.  He entered Starfleet Academy in 2255 and graduated 4 years later.

     He originally was the physicist aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.  He transferred to the helm shortly thereafter.

     He took command of the U.S.S. Excelsior in 2290.  He played an important role in the Khitomer Accords.  Starfleet Command honored him for his contributions in space exploration by hanging his picture in Starfleet Headquarters located in San Francisco.
