The Srivani are a race of scientists. They have technology far superior then that of the Federation.
They are from the Delta Quadrant. They are humanoids.
Being scientists, they carry out observations, medical investigations, and tests. They do this, however, without the consent of their subjects. Sometimes their subjects die because of these tests.
They are able to conceal their presence. They can walk amongst other people in a crowded area hidden away from others. They are even able to touch their subjects without them knowing it. They are emotionally detached from their subjects.
Their technology includes a device that transmits individual strands of a person’s DNA chain.
