Biography

     Ro Laren was born in 2350 and was raised during the Cardassian Occupation of Bajor.  She was forced to watch her father tortured and killed by Cardassians when she was seven.  She never believed much in the Bajoran faith.

     As an Ensign in Starfleet, she was reprimanded numerous times and was court-martialed when she disobeyed orders and eight fellow crew members were killed from the U.S.S. Wellington.

     She was imprisoned on Jaros II until she was released in 2368.  She was assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise-D to help with a covert mission.

     In 2370, she was accepted to Starfleet's Advanced Tactical Training School.  She was assigned to the Enterprise-D as a Conn officer.  She infiltrated a Maquis cell, however, she later resigned from Starfleet and joined the Maquis.
