The Rakosans are a peaceful humanoid species from
Rakosa V in the Delta Quadrant. They aren't as technogically advanced as the
Federation.
In 2372, their homeworld was accidentally targeted by
the missile, Dreadnought. It threatened millions of lives. Fortunately, the
missile was destroyed by USS Voyager crew member B'Elanna Torres moments before
it would have impacted the planet.
