The Pakleds are from the Alpha Quadrant. They have technology but its very limited. It appears they aren’t intelligent but they are cunning.
Pakleds are heavy-set. They have very little hair. Only male Pakleds have been encountered by Starfleet so it is unclear if females share these attributes.
Their ships carry few armaments but feature shields nearly identical similar to the Romulans’ own. Other systems are from other cultures and are likely stolen.
