Biography
Odo was born in the Gamma Quadrant. Odo was a Founder, part of the Dominion.
In 2358, he was discovered as an infant in the Denorios Belt near
Bajor.
He spent several years at the Bajoran Institute of Science.
He was studied by Doctor Mora
Pol.
In 2365, Odo went to Terok Nor (Deep Space Nine).
Gul Dukat asked Odo to investigate a murder aboard the station. Dukat was impressed with Odo's work and placed him in charge of security.
He kept that position until he returned to the Founder homeworld in 2375.
In the early part of 2371, Odo found his people. He learned that he was part of
the Founders and he was implanted with a desire to return home. He declined to join the Great Link.
Later in 2371, he killed a Founder. In 2372, he returned to the Founder homeworld and he was judged for killing another Founder.
He was made a human and able to shape-shift.
In 2373, a baby Founder was found by Dr. Mora. It became sick and before it died, it infused itself into Odo, giving Odo his shape-shifting capabilities once again.
He began to date Kira Nerys in late 2374. Kira became upset when he decided to return home the next year.
Odo and the rest of the Founders became sick by a Section 31 virus.
It was Doctor Julian Bashir that found a cure. He linked
with the Founder leader responsible for the Dominion War and cured her. In return, Odo learned he must return home and educate his people about "solids".
