The Nyrians are a race of humanoids from the Delta
Quadrant. They are nearly identical to Humans, except they sensitive to cold and
light.
In 2373, they attempted to take control of the U.S.S.
Voyager by translocating Voyager's crew to a habitat ship and transporting their
own to Voyager.
The crew of the Voyager was able to get control of the
habitat ship and translocated device and sent two senior Nyrians into the
coldest possible environment. They returned Voyager's crew back to the ship.
