The Ledosians are a peaceful race. Their homeworld
is known as Ledos. The planet is located in the Delta Quadrant.
An advanced alien race discovered that a majority of
the population that was technologically advancing was polluting the area of a
more primitive species that was their genetic ancestors, the Ventu. The aliens
place a shield around the Ventu area. The Ledosians attempted everything to
penetrate the field.
Starfleet made first contact with the Ledosians in
2377. The U.S.S. Voyager was the ship that made first contact.
