Biography James Tiberius Kirk was born in 2233 in Iowa. He had at least one brother, George Samuel Kirk. He entered Starfleet Academy in 2350. He was tormented by Finnegan. During his time at the academy, he served aboard the U.S.S. Republic. He graduated the Academy and took his second assignment aboard the U.S.S. Farragut. He became the captain of the U.S.S. Enterprise and was in command of the ship from 2264 to 2269. In 2367, his brother and sister-in-law, Aurlean Kirk, died during the Denevan neural parasite invasion. He was promoted to Admiral after the five year mission. He accepted the position of chief of Starfleet operations. He dated Carol Marcus. She gave birth to Kirk's son, David Marcus. During the Genesis crisis featuring Khan, David was killed by a Klingon officer. He decided to retire once. He had met Antonia and regretted he had not proposed to her. He decided to return to Starfleet in 2284. He was an instructor at Starfleet Academy. He became dissatisfied with the position and returned to active duty the following year. During the Genesis crisis, Spock risked his life to save the crew of the Enterprise. In 2285, during a mission to save Spock's body, he destroyed the Enterprise to prevent it from falling into the hands of the Klingons and was reprimanded for stealing the Enterprise for the mission. He was demoted back to Captain and took command of the U.S.S. Enterprise-A. In 2293, he led the way for peace between the Federation and the Klingons after Qo'noS moon, Praxis, exploded. He retired again three months after the Khitomer Accords were signed. Later in 2293, he attended the launch of the U.S.S. Enterprise-B. He was believed killed on the ship while trying to save the El-Aurian transport ships. He fell into the Nexus. He reemerged from the Nexus in 2371. He helped Captain Jean-Luc Picard to defeat Dr. Soran. He died on Veridian III and is buried there. Additional Pictures
