Edo

The Edo live on Rubicun III.  They have a liberal attitude toward enjoying life.  They do possess a severe punitive system.

They are an extremely attractive race.  They are in extremely good condition.  The adults wear a silver pendant around their necks.

It appears there is no strictly enforced hierarchy.  They follow hedonistic ways.  They enjoy sex, drinking, games, and many other recreations.

They are extremely sensitive to the lives of others.  They hold their health and friendliness in the very highest regard.

They are a proud and honest race.  They consider anyone that has technology above their own as a god.

Planetary decisions are made within the informal council chambers.  The chambers are lit by natural daylight that streamed through stained glass.  The male Liator and the female Rivan rely on the ancient customs of the planet.

They have a strict law that if anyone commits a crime, they are punished by death.  It doesn’t matter what the crime is.  Death is administered by a painless syringe of poison.

At any one time, a random zone or area of the complex is considered off limits.  The public never knew what area had been selected or for how long it was off limits.

The crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise-D visited the planet on Stardate: 41255.  Wesley Crusher was nearly put to death when he broke one of the laws by going into a forbidden area.  Captain Jean-Luc Picard swayed the “god” and transported the away team including Crusher back to the Enterprise-D.
