Security Considerations All hardware data, and plans related to Starfleet and Bajoran defensive operations are subject to standard security procedures. The particular level of security is determined by type of system requiring restricted use, crisis level, and data sensitivity. Physical and computer access to major defensive hardware systems is limited to authorized Starfleet and Bajoran officers and crew, and other personnel with clearance of level-1. The restricted systems include station-mounted phasers, photon and quantum torpedoes, fusion power generation, computers, defensive shields, tractor beams, communications, and auto-destruct devices. Additionally, all personnel phasers, power packs, photon grenades and related equipment are protected in guarded armory sections in Ops, Mid-Core,, Lower Core, and Habitat Ring. |
