Devidians

     The Devidians are from the planet Devidia II. The planet is located in the Marrah Sector in the Alpha Quadrant.

     Devidiains exist in a different space-time continuum then nearly all other species. They aren't able to be detected with normal scanning methods.

     In their natural state, Devidians have the appearance of other humanoid species. They are two to three meters in height. They have a silver-gray skin color. They have no discernable ears or eyes.

     They have the ability to shape-shift. They also produce triolic waves. They are protected by micocentrum cell membranes which also allows the shape-shift capabilities.

     They have a large central orifice that dominates their foreheads. It is through here in which they consume electrochemical neural energy. They were forced to gather this energy from other species.

     They have the ability to travel back in time and disguise themselves as the inhabitants. They use a device that will drain a victim of their electrochemical neural energy. It stores the energy until they return to Devidia II.

     Starfleet made first contact with the Devidians took place in 2368. This happened when an archaeological dig uncovered a fossil that led them to Devidia II. Starfleet sent the U.S.S. Enterprise-D to investigate.

     Devidians had been praying on 19th-century San Francisco humans. Members of the Enterprise-D went back into time and stop the hunters. One of them were killed while the other escaped. The Enterprise away team destroyed the lair that had allowed the Devidians to travel through time.
