Biography

     Data was built by Doctor Noonien and Juliana Soong.  He was discovered by the U.S.S. Tripoli. He joined Starfleet in 2341 and graduated 4 years later.

     He served aboard the U.S.S. Trieste before being assigned to the U.S.S. Enterprise-D in 2364.  He was the Operations Manager. In 2372, he transferred to the U.S.S. Enterprise-E when its predecessor was destroyed the year before.

     Data learned of his brother Lore in 2364 upon returning to the Omicron Theta Colony site.  He learned that Lore was an evil android.  Lore attempted to the steal the Enterprise-D and commanded Borg.

     In 2379, he learned of another brother, B4. The Reman reprogrammed B4 to gather intelligence from the Enterprise-E. Data was promoted to Commander and was to become the First Officer of the Enterprise-E, however he gave his life to rescue the crew of the Enterprise-E and Captain Jean-Luc Picard.
