Biography

     Christine Chapel was a nurse aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise.  She was promoted to head nurse.

     After the Enterprise returned from its mission, she earned a medical degree and became Chief Medical Officer of the ship. She stepped down when Doctor Leonard McCoy returned to the ship.

     During the crisis with the whale-song aliens, she directed Starfleet Emergency Operation as a Commander
