Biography

     Chakotay was born in 2339.  His father was Kolopak.  He was sponsored to go to Starfleet Academy by Captain Hikaru Sulu.  He entered Starfleet Academy in 2350.  He graduated in 2354.

     He left Starfleet to join the Maquis,  In 2371, his ship was lost in the Delta Quadrant.  He saved the U.S.S. Voyager by using his own ship as a weapon.  He and his crew joined the crew of Voyager.  Chakotay was given the position of First Officer.  He kept that position until Voyager returned to the Alpha Quadrant in 2378.
