Leonard Nimoy was born in Boston, Massachusetts on March 26, 1931. He was the
second son of Max and Dora Nimoy.
In 1954, he married Sandi Zober. He went into the army months after marrying her. After his discharge from the Army, Nimoy enrolled in the Pasadena Playhouse in California. He left there to pursue a film career. He ran a drama studio in North Hollywood for three years and taught for a year at Synanon. He divorced Sandi Zober after 32 years.
Leonard Nimoy passed away on February 27, 2015 from COPD. He was married to his second wife, Susan Bay Nimoy at the time of his passing. He leaves behind two children, Julie and Adam and several grandchildren.
