Jolene Blalock, born on March 5, 1975, in San Diego, California, is an American
actress and model best known for her role as T'Pol in Star Trek: Enterprise. She
has also appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Stargate SG-1, and Starship
Troopers 3: Marauder.
Blalock grew up in San
Diego with three siblings and developed a passion for surfing and art. At 16,
she left home to pursue a modeling career in Europe and Asia. She appeared on
the covers of Maxim, FHM, and Playboy, gaining recognition before transitioning
into acting.
Her television debut came with a
guest role on Veronica's Closet, followed by appearances in Love Boat: The Next
Wave, JAG, and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. She starred as Medea in Jason and
the Argonauts (2000) before landing her breakout role as T'Pol, the Vulcan
science officer in Star Trek: Enterprise (2001–2005).
After Enterprise, Blalock took on roles in Slow Burn (2005), Shadow Puppets
(2007), and Starship Troopers 3: Marauder (2008). She also guest-starred in
House, CSI: Miami, and Legend of the Seeker. In 2013, she reunited with the
Enterprise cast for an interview during the Blu-ray release.
Blalock married Michael Rapino, CEO of Live Nation, in 2003. She proposed to him
during a family vacation in Jamaica, and they married the next day. The couple
has three children: Ryder James Rapino, River Thunder Rapino, and Rexton Rapino.
She is an avid surfer, Thai boxer, and photographer.
