Gwynyth Walsh is a Canadian actress, born in 1956 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Alberta and began her
career in theater, performing across Canada and the United States. She won a
Dramalogue Award for her portrayal of Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing.
Walsh is best known for playing B'Etor, one of the
Duras sisters, in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine,
and Star Trek: Generations (1994). She also appeared in Star Trek: Voyager as
Constable Nimira in the episode Random Thoughts.
Beyond Star Trek, Walsh has had a prolific career in television and film,
starring in Da Vinci’s Inquest, Virgin River, Perry Mason, and Taken. She has
also done voice acting, including the role of Grey Mother in the video game The
Long Dark.
