Felecia M. Bell was born on June 12, 1960, in Valley Village, California. She
studied drama at Carnegie Mellon University, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine
Arts degree. Bell began her acting career in 1988, appearing in an episode of
Hunter. She later played Glynnis Turner on Days of Our Lives from *1990 to 1992
and Dr. Simone Hardy on General Hospital from 1993 to 1996.
Bell is best known for her role as Jennifer Sisko, the late wife of Captain
Benjamin Sisko, in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. She appeared in three episodes,
including the series premiere Emissary (1993) and two Mirror Universe episodes,
Through the Looking Glass (1995) and Shattered Mirror (1996). She also starred
as Jessica Rodgers in the first season of Night Man (1997–1998).
Her other television credits include ER, JAG, Smallville, and Law & Order. Bell
retired from acting in 2007 and became a holistic nutritionist, operating a
wellness service called Walk In Health in Bayonne, New Jersey.
