Angus Imrie is a British actor born on August 2, 1994, on the Isle of Wightland.
He is the son of actors Celia Imrie and Benjamin Whitrow. He attended Dulwich
College from 2001 to 2012, then studied English Literature and Theatre Studies
at the University of Warwick before training at the London Academy of Music and
Dramatic Art (LAMDA) from 2015 to 2017.
He made
his screen debut in the BBC film drama Station Jim at age five and later
appeared in ITV’s Kingdom (2007) and BBC One’s Restless (2012). His stage
performances include Shakespeare’s Globe productions, where he played Bagot in
Richard II and Ned Spiggett in Nell Gwynn. He has been the voice of Josh Archer
in the BBC Radio 4 drama The Archers since 2014.
He gained wider recognition for his role as young Merlin in The Kid Who Would Be
King (2019) and starred in Pond Life (2018). From 2021 to 2024, he voiced Zero,
a main character in the animated series Star Trek: Prodigy.
He has one child and continues working across film, television, and radio.
