Biography

     Doctor Julian Bashir was born in 2341.  His parents were Richard and Amsha Bashir.  He entered Starfleet Academy in 2359 and graduated 10 years later.

     He had learning problems and did poorly in school.  He underwent genetic resequencing on Adigeon Prime when he was six.  The procedure is illegal under Federation laws.  Doctor Lewis Zimmerman found out about it.  Bashir's father pleaded guilty and served two years at the Federation Penal Settlement in New Zealand.

     He was attracted to Jadzia Dax.  She did not return the feelings.  He dated Ensign Melora Pazlar and Leeta.  Leeta and Bashir lasted a few months until they performed the Bajoran Rite of Separation on Risa on 2373.

     He became close friends with Miles O'Brien.  He and O'Brien would play games and go to the holodeck together.  He also became friends with Garak.  He didn't fully trust Garak, due to his past in the Cardassian Obsidian Order.

     In 2373, Bashir was kidnapped by the Dominion, a Founder took his place.  The founder's mission was to blow up the star near Bajor and destroy Bajor, Deep Space Nine, and the Federation/Klingon fleet.

     In late 2375, the Founders including Odo became ill with a virus given to them by Section 31.  Bashir found a cure for the disease, which was a major part of ending the Dominion War.  He also began to date Ezri Dax at this time.
