The Axanars are an androgynous humanoid species. The come from the planet Axanar. They have a life span of 400 years.

     In 2151, first contact between Humans and the Axanars took place. The Axanars thought that Enterprise has killed their ship's crew. Instead, it was another alien species and together the Axnars and Enterprise fought off the attacking ship.
